Dallas-Fort Worth
Dallas-Fort Worth is one metroplex with two downtowns and dozens of suburbs, and soccer is played in nearly all of them. Futsal leagues in Irving, turf fields in Plano and club fields in Fort Worth keep midweek nights busy. The MCC Dallas-Fort Worth tournament in 2027 offers three grounds, a Pitch Round from 9 April, and the World Final on 7 July 2027.
Three grounds, three champions
Two halves of 15 minutes on a stop clock. Every team plays three group matches in a group of four, and the top two go into the playoffs, where a tie level after two halves goes to penalties. Five weeks of football on each ground leave Dallas-Fort Worth with three Pitch Champions, and each goes straight to the Country Championship.

Suburban fields and indoor courts across the metroplex
Soccer in North Texas grew up in the suburbs, where club complexes and indoor facilities fill up on weeknights. Mexican and Central American communities in Oak Cliff, Garland and Fort Worth's north side sustain long-running leagues, and futsal courts are common. FC Dallas in Frisco gives the area a professional club, and the area's youth clubs produce thousands of adult players.
Friends, office colleagues and club alumni can all enter, provided they are amateur and field a squad of nine at most. A weekly kickabout group that has never entered anything formal stands level with an established club, and registration needs no outside federation card.
Plano, Arlington and Fort Worth on the map
Plano/North Dallas serves Plano, Richardson, Frisco, Addison and the northern edge of the city. Arlington/Central sits in the middle of the metroplex, drawing on Arlington, Grand Prairie, Irving and Oak Cliff. Fort Worth/West covers Fort Worth, Benbrook, Weatherford and the western suburbs.
The Trinity Railway Express links Dallas and Fort Worth and DART covers parts of the north, but most players drive on I-35, I-30 and the Dallas North Tollway. A ground plays its own whole round, with 64 to 128 teams, which lets a team stay in its own corner of the metroplex.
One venue per ground is confirmed through the pitch owner programme, and the live cards name it once its agreement is signed. A ground with no named venue has none confirmed yet, so read the cards before assuming where your group games are.
North Texas in spring and the Texas championship trail
North Texas springs are warm, with highs near 24 degrees Celsius in April, and storms are common in the season. Group matches run over three weekends from 9 April, the playoffs begin on 30 April and the finals take place on 9 May 2027.
The three Pitch Champions move directly into the United States Country Championship, 28 to 30 May 2027, with winners from Houston, Chicago, Atlanta and other American host cities. Beyond that lies the continental stage, then the World Final on 7 July 2027.
What sets MCC apart from a Saturday cup
North Texas hosts plenty of tournaments for club fundraisers and youth programmes, many on a single Saturday. MCC for adults is a published season: four-team groups, playoffs, penalties for level ties, a $20,000 prize for each Pitch Champion, and a ladder from the pitch to the world. Entry is amateur only, with a named Team President.
