Every rung pays. $20,000 for taking your pitch, $5,000,000 for the last team standing. Your squad settles the split in writing before the first whistle.

Run the club
The website registers the team. Everything after that, from the first roster to check-in on match day, happens in the MCC app. Coming before the Pitch Round.
- Manager mode
- A roster of up to nine, each player on their own terms: a bonus per win, per goal, per clean sheet. Set the prize split between owners and players in percentages, add co-owners to the license, and say Yes or No to whether the team needs travel and accommodation.
- Transfers
- Two windows: week 7 from 16 May and week 9 from 30 May 2027. An offer runs on two tracks, the club's and the player's; both accept before MCC approves the move. Free agents list themselves for clubs to find.
- Match day
- Say whether you can play. The team sheet shows who has answered, who is in and who is out. At the pitch, scan the poster to check in; from 9 April 2027 that needs your four forms approved in the app.
- Club and pitch pages
- Every club has a page: standing, people, next fixture, results. Every pitch shows its table of clubs and the knockout bracket round by round, with who is still in.
- Pitch owners
- Owners run match day from the same app: the fixtures on their pitch, the check-in poster, team sheets with hand check-in, and the result.
- Signup code
- Every license carries a signup code. Players who join the app with your code count toward your team, and at 100 the license fee earns cashback.
Not in the stores yet. The app ships before the Pitch Round kicks off on 9 April 2027.
Know the terms
Amateurs, free agents and former professionals all play. The one bar: no player currently registered with, contracted to or playing for a professional club. Current professionals may own a license, preside or coach.
5v5 on the pitch with rolling substitutes. Squads are onboarded and managed in the MCC app after licensing.
A Team License covers one team for one year (USD 1,200 until 1 March 2027, then USD 2,500) or three years (USD 5,000, offered this year only). Entering several teams? Order several licenses at once. Bring 100 MCC app signups through your signup code and the fee earns cashback.
Two halves of 15 minutes on a stop clock, with rolling substitutes. Groups of four play first: 3 points a win, 1 a draw. The top two of each group go into the playoffs, where a tie still level after two halves goes to penalties.
The majority owner's identity is verified before the license activates.
Every MCC match is controlled by a referee, two assistants and a fourth official - appointed through MCC, never by the teams.
A player who fights is disqualified. Teammates who join a fight can see the team disqualified and the license revoked.
Common questions
A one-year Team License is USD 1,200 until 1 March 2027, then USD 2,500. A three-year license is USD 5,000, and this is the last year it is offered. One team, one license. The team application comes first; payment and KYC verification follow. A team that brings 100 MCC app signups through its signup code earns cashback on the fee. The amount is still to be announced.
Players register on their own, as free agents, from the Join page. They land in the free agent pool, and licensed clubs recruit from it in the MCC app. This site registers the team, its coach and its Team President. Every player also returns four signed forms through the app: the Participation Agreement, the Medical Declaration, the Assumption of Risk and the emergency-treatment authorization. MCC sends the forms; each player photographs the signed pages and uploads them. From 9 April 2027 a player whose forms are not approved cannot check in and does not play.
A full pitch puts your entry on its waitlist instead of turning it away. If a place opens, MCC can move your team in from the waitlist.
Players from every background - amateur, recreational, free agent or former professional. The only restriction: not currently registered with, contracted to or playing for a professional club. Registrations pass identity and contractual-status checks. Registrants must be 18 or over. Players under 18 join a squad in the MCC app with a guardian's consent.
The Pitch Round runs 9 April to 9 May 2027, the Country Championships follow on 28-30 May, and the World Final is on 7 July 2027.
Two transfer windows open through the MCC app - week 7 (from 16 May) and week 9 (from 30 May 2027). Squads then stay closed through the 17-day break before the World Championship.
An official MCC trophy at every level - and from the Country Championship up, eligible squad members receive individually produced championship rings.
