Host a tournament in Seoul

MCC is looking for three Seoul venues, one per ground: North Seoul, East Seoul and South-West Seoul. Whoever takes a ground hosts a contest for up to 128 amateur teams across spring 2027. Seoul futsal operators and pitch owners can apply on this page.

What a Seoul venue takes on

A venue must find court time for group matches on three April weekends, then playoffs starting 30 April and a final on 9 May. Matches take 40-minute slots, so a site with a few small courts can cover a ground over weekend hours. A ground can start with as few as 64 teams.

Which part of Seoul a venue serves

North Seoul takes venues north of the Han in districts such as Jongno, Seongbuk, Nowon and Dobong. East Seoul takes Gwangjin, Songpa and Gangdong. South-West Seoul takes Yeongdeungpo, Guro, Gangseo and Gwanak. Choose the area your site stands in; the live cards on the Seoul page show which grounds are still open.

Applying as a Seoul pitch owner

A Seoul pitch owner applies once, and MCC confirms a single venue for each of the three grounds. After the agreement is signed the venue is named on the Seoul page, and from then on it is the place where that ground's teams play.

Questions from Seoul venues

Can a rooftop futsal court host a Seoul ground?

Yes, as long as it can stage its ground's fixtures on the published dates. A rooftop court counts the same as any other site, and the venue that is confirmed signs an agreement with MCC before it is named.

Does the venue arrange referees and teams?

No. Teams register on this site and pick a ground. Referees and crew are recruited via the join page, so the venue supplies the pitches and the space and never has to appoint anyone.

Can a site outside central Seoul apply?

Yes. The grounds cover whole areas of the Seoul metro, and a site in Nowon or Gangseo fits its ground as well as one near Jongno or Songpa. Teams usually pick the ground closest to home.
