Host a tournament in Kuala Lumpur
MCC needs three Kuala Lumpur venues, one each for North Metro, Cheras/East and Shah Alam/West. Whoever takes a ground runs the contest for up to 128 amateur teams, with the format, the entries and the prize money all arranged by MCC. Futsal operators in the Klang Valley can apply here.
What a Kuala Lumpur venue takes on
Hosting means giving court time to group matches on three April weekends, to playoffs starting 30 April, and to a final on 9 May. Matches use 40-minute slots, so a venue with several courts can cover a full ground over weekend hours. A ground may start at 64 teams.
Which ground a Klang Valley site belongs to
North Metro takes sites in Kepong, Segambut, Gombak and the Batu Caves side. Cheras takes the east, including Cheras, Ampang and the Kajang corridor. Shah Alam takes the west, including Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya and Shah Alam. Applicants choose the area their site occupies, and the live cards on the Kuala Lumpur page show which grounds remain open.
Applying as a pitch owner in Kuala Lumpur
Klang Valley owners use the pitch owner application. For every one of the three grounds a single venue is confirmed and put under agreement by MCC, and that venue is then named on the Kuala Lumpur page where entering teams look for their ground.
Questions from Kuala Lumpur venues
Can a venue in Selangor outside the city limits apply?
Yes. The grounds cover the wider metro area, so a site in Shah Alam or Subang Jaya suits its ground as well as one inside the federal territory. The application asks where the site is and what it offers.
Does a venue have to supply referees?
No. Referees and crew are recruited via the join page, and teams never appoint them. Teams register on this site and choose a ground, so a venue's part is hosting the matches on the fixture dates.
Which Kuala Lumpur grounds still need a venue?
The live cards on the Kuala Lumpur page show which of the three grounds already has a venue. One venue is confirmed per ground, and it is announced on the city page after its agreement is signed.
