Host a tournament in Bangkok
MCC is looking for three Bangkok venues, one each for North Bangkok, East Bangkok and South-West Bangkok. The operator of a ground hosts up to 128 amateur teams over the hot season, with MCC supplying the format, entries and prize fund. Owners of futsal courts and artificial pitches in Bangkok can apply here.
What a Bangkok venue takes on
A host site needs court time across three April weekends for group matches, then playoffs beginning 30 April and a final on 9 May. Each match takes a 40-minute slot, so a site with several courts can cover a ground within weekend hours, and a ground may start at 64 teams.
Which Bangkok ground a site serves
North Bangkok takes sites around Chatuchak, Lat Phrao and Don Mueang. East Bangkok takes Bang Kapi, Ramkhamhaeng, On Nut and Bang Na. South-West Bangkok takes the Thonburi side, around Taling Chan, Bang Khae and Phasi Charoen. Pick the area where your site stands; the live cards on the Bangkok page show what is still open.
Applying as a Bangkok pitch owner
A Bangkok pitch owner applies through the owner programme. MCC confirms a single venue for each of the three grounds, signs an agreement with it, and then names the venue on the Bangkok page for teams to see before they pick a ground.
Questions from Bangkok venues
Can a site just outside Bangkok apply?
The grounds cover the Bangkok metro area, so sites near the boundary can apply for the closest one. MCC confirms one venue per ground and signs an agreement with it.
Who appoints referees at a Bangkok ground?
MCC does. Referees and crew come from the join page and teams never appoint them. Teams sign up on this site, so a venue's part is staging its ground's fixtures on the published dates.
Which Bangkok grounds does MCC need a venue for?
One venue for each of three grounds: North Bangkok, East Bangkok and South-West Bangkok. The live cards on the Bangkok page show which already have a venue, and a signed venue is named there.
