Host a tournament in Bucharest
Each of the three Bucharest grounds needs one venue, and MCC is confirming them. Between 9 April and 9 May 2027 the venue hosts 64 to 128 amateur teams, while MCC provides the format, the fixtures, the entries and the Pitch Champion prize. Operators of artificial pitches, sports bases and clubs in Bucharest can read here what hosting involves.
What a Bucharest venue is asked to provide
The commitment is hosting the matches: three group weekends in April, playoffs starting 30 April and a ground final on 9 May. Each match runs in a 40-minute slot. MCC handles entries and fixtures, and recruits officials through the join page, so the venue does not appoint referees or choose teams.
Which Bucharest areas each ground covers
Venues near Herăstrău, Floreasca or Băneasa fit North Bucarest. Pantelimon and Titan fit East Bucarest, and Drumul Taberei, Militari or Berceni fit South-West Bucarest. The cards on the Bucharest page show the current state: which grounds have a signed venue and which remain open.
The pitch owner application in Bucharest
Owners send in the MCC pitch owner application. MCC confirms one venue for each ground and signs an agreement with it. When that is done, the Bucharest page announces the venue to teams registering, and the cards there stop showing that ground as open.
Questions from Bucharest venues
How many pitches does a Bucharest ground cover?
Each ground is an area of the city, not a single pitch. North Bucarest, East Bucarest and South-West Bucarest hold 64 to 128 teams each, with matches in 40-minute slots, and MCC confirms one venue per ground.
Does the venue pick the teams?
No. Teams register through MCC and choose the ground that suits them. The venue provides the pitches and hours on the fixture dates while MCC supplies entries, fixtures and the prize fund.
Who supplies the teams and officials at a Bucharest ground?
MCC does. Teams register through MCC and choose their ground, and the referee, two assistants and fourth official are recruited through the join page. The venue's part is hosting the matches.
