Host a tournament in Amsterdam
MCC needs one venue for each of its three Amsterdam grounds: North, Zuidoost and West. Whoever takes a ground runs a 5-a-side tournament for 64 to 128 amateur teams, running from 9 April through 9 May 2027. The format, entries and Pitch Champion prize come from MCC. Sports halls and outdoor pitch operators can both apply.

Hosting a ground means giving MCC the pitches for group weekends in April, then the playoff dates and the 9 May final. A match takes a 40-minute slot, and the number of courts a site runs across a weekend decides whether the ground holds 64 teams or up to 128.
Which areas the Amsterdam grounds cover
North Amsterdam serves the districts across the IJ, Zuidoost covers the south-east including the Bijlmer, and West Amsterdam takes the western neighbourhoods. A venue applies for the ground whose area it sits in. The live cards on the Amsterdam city page show which grounds already have a signed venue and which remain open.
Applying to host a ground
Pitch owners start with the pitch owner application. MCC confirms one venue for each Amsterdam ground and signs an agreement with it, and once that is done the venue is named on the Amsterdam page. Sports halls and outdoor artificial pitches can both apply.

Can an indoor sports hall in Amsterdam host a ground?
Yes, provided it can spare enough pitch time on the fixture dates. A hall works as well as an outdoor artificial pitch in April and May, because the format calls for small courts rather than full-size fields.
Does the venue pick the teams?
No. Teams register on this site and choose a ground. The venue provides pitches and hours, while MCC supplies the entries, the fixtures and the prize. Match officials and crew are recruited through the join page.
Which dates does an Amsterdam venue need to cover?
Group matches fall on three weekends in April 2027, playoffs start on 30 April, and each ground finishes with its final on 9 May. The venue hosts them all, one 40-minute slot per match.
