Host a tournament in Miami-Fort Lauderdale
Three venues will be confirmed across Broward and Miami-Dade, one each for the Broward/North, Central Miami and Kendall/South grounds. Whoever hosts a ground runs a complete tournament of 64 to 128 amateur teams in the window from 9 April to 9 May 2027. The format, entries and prize fund are MCC's side of the arrangement.
What South Florida venues take on
Over three April weekends a ground plays groups of four, then playoffs begin on 30 April and its final falls on 9 May. The hosting venue stages each match in a 40-minute slot on those fixture dates. A South Florida ground can run with 64 teams or reach 128, depending on entries, and both indoor courts and outdoor turf suit the format.
Matching a site to a ground
Broward/North suits sites in Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Pembroke Pines and the northern suburbs. Central Miami suits venues in the city core, Hialeah and Coral Gables. Kendall/South suits fields in Kendall, Cutler Bay and Homestead. A site fits whichever of the three areas it sits in, and only one venue is confirmed for each.
Applying as a pitch owner
Pitch owners apply through the MCC programme. From the applications for an area, MCC confirms a single venue and signs an agreement with it. That signed venue is then named on this city's page, so registering teams see where their ground plays.
Questions from South Florida venues
Does an indoor court count, or must pitches be outdoors?
Either kind of site can apply as a pitch owner. Whichever is confirmed for a ground signs an agreement with MCC and hosts its fixtures in 40-minute slots. Indoor courts and outdoor turf are equally workable for the format.
What if my venue sits between two grounds?
Apply for the ground that suits where most nearby teams live. MCC confirms a single venue per ground and names it on the city page. Operators on either side of a boundary can each apply for the ground they serve.
Who supplies the referees and crew for a ground?
MCC recruits match officials and crew through the join page, and teams never appoint them. Teams register through the city page. A South Florida venue stages the matches and is not required to supply teams or officials.
