Host a Kuwait City tournament ground
The Jahra/North-West, Central Metro and Ahmadi/South grounds each need a venue, and MCC will confirm one for each. A venue stages a Pitch Round of 64 to 128 teams in the five weeks from 9 April 2027. Owners of futsal courts or small pitches in Kuwait can apply as pitch owners.
What hosting a Kuwait ground involves
A Kuwait venue hosts the matches of one ground: group games on three April weekends, then playoffs, and the ground's final on 9 May 2027. Every game occupies a 40-minute slot, two 15-minute halves with the clock stopped for dead balls.
MCC recruits the officials and crew itself through the join page, and teams never appoint them. The venue's part is to stage the games on those dates. When an agreement is signed for a ground, the venue is named on the Kuwait City page.
Which area a Kuwait venue serves
Jahra/North-West covers the western suburbs and the roads toward Sulaibiya. Central Metro covers Kuwait City, Salmiya, Hawalli and the districts between the ring roads. Ahmadi/South covers the southern governorates, so Fahaheel and Mangaf fall in that ground, and each ground takes one venue.
Each ground gets a single venue. Give MCC your district and the nearest ring road in the application, and the team will match your site to the right ground. Kuwait City is the country's only host city, so these three venues serve every Kuwaiti team in the competition.
How to apply as a Kuwait pitch owner
The pitch owner application on this site is the route. MCC confirms one venue per ground, signs an agreement and then announces the venue on the page for Kuwait City Metro. Nothing is announced before the signature, and the cards on the page show which grounds are still open.
All three grounds are open to applications. The Pitch Round opens on 9 April 2027, and the winners of the three grounds go to the Kuwait Country Championship in late May. Name your district and say who can sign for the owner.
Questions from Kuwait venues
Can a hotel or private club in Kuwait host a ground?
Yes, if it controls pitches and can sign a venue agreement. The programme is for pitch owners, so the kind of business does not matter, whether a hotel, a club, a school or a sports centre.
Do indoor courts qualify as Kuwait ground venues?
Indoor courts can host a ground. Describe the hall and the number of courts in your pitch owner application, so MCC can match the site to one of the three grounds and confirm a venue for that ground.
When are Kuwait venues announced?
MCC announces each venue on the Kuwait City page once its agreement is signed. The live cards on the page show which of the three grounds are still open. A ground with no card yet can still take applications from Jahra, central Kuwait and Ahmadi.
