Host a Riyadh tournament ground
Riyadh's North, East and South-West grounds each need a confirmed venue. A venue stages a Pitch Round of 64 to 128 teams over five weeks in spring 2027 and appears on the city page once signed. Operators of futsal courts or fenced pitches in the capital can apply as pitch owners.
What hosting a Riyadh ground involves
A Riyadh venue stages one ground's fixtures. Group matches fall on 9 to 11, 16 to 18 and 23 to 25 April, the playoffs begin on 30 April and the ground's final is on 9 May 2027. Every match takes a 40-minute slot, two 15-minute halves with a stop clock.
Officials and crew come from MCC's own recruitment, so the venue never hires a referee or sets who plays whom. For each ground MCC signs one venue agreement, and the venue is then named on the Riyadh city page ahead of the first match day.
Which Riyadh areas the grounds cover
North covers Al Malqa, Hittin and Al Yasmin. East covers the neighbourhoods toward Al Rawdah and the Eastern Ring Road. South-West covers the southern and south-western districts, including the area around Al Shifa. A venue serves the ground whose area it sits in, and each ground gets a single venue.
Riyadh is wide, so the area matters more than the size of the site. A pitch owner in any of those districts is a candidate for the ground that covers it, and all three grounds are still looking for a venue until a signed agreement appears on the city page.
How to apply as a Riyadh pitch owner
The route is the pitch owner application on this site. MCC signs one agreement per ground, and only after that is a venue named on the Riyadh page. The cards on the city page show which of the three grounds already have a venue.
Applications are open for all three Riyadh grounds. Name the district your site is in, so MCC can place it against North, East or South-West, and say who signs for the owner. The Pitch Round starts on 9 April 2027.
Questions from Riyadh venues
Which Riyadh grounds could my site serve?
That depends on the district. North covers Al Malqa, Hittin and Al Yasmin, East covers the area toward Al Rawdah and the Eastern Ring Road, and South-West covers the southern and south-western districts. Each ground has one venue.
Who appoints the referees at a Riyadh venue?
MCC does. It recruits the referee, the two assistants, the fourth official and the crew through its join page, and teams never appoint them. The venue is never asked to pick, pay or manage officials.
When will a Riyadh venue be announced?
MCC announces a venue on the Riyadh city page once its agreement is signed. Until then the live cards show which of the three grounds already have a venue and which are still open.
