Host a tournament in Guadalajara
Three Guadalajara venues are wanted, one per ground: Zapopan/North-West, Tonalá/East and Tlaquepaque/South. Whoever hosts takes 64 to 128 amateur teams through the Pitch Round, which runs from 9 April to 9 May 2027, with the format and fixtures set by MCC. Owners of canchas and football complexes in the metropolitan area can put a site forward on this page.
What a Guadalajara venue takes on
Matches are 40 minutes each. Over three April weekends every team plays its three group games, the knockouts start on 30 April, and the ground's last match is the final on 9 May. Each Guadalajara ground draws 64 to 128 teams, and one venue hosts all of them.
Which municipality each ground covers
Zapopan/North-West covers Zapopan and the north-west of the metropolitan area. Tonalá/East covers Tonalá and the east. Tlaquepaque/South covers Tlaquepaque and the south. The cards on the Guadalajara page show which of these grounds are still open to a pitch owner.
How to apply as a Guadalajara pitch owner
The pitch owner application is the way in for any owner in the metropolitan area. After it, MCC settles on one venue for each ground and signs a venue agreement. Only once that is done does the Guadalajara page name the venue for entrants.
Questions from Guadalajara venues
How many pitches does a Guadalajara ground use?
MCC does not set a pitch count in advance. A ground holds 64 to 128 teams, plays in 40-minute match slots on the fixture dates, and has one confirmed venue. The pitch owner application is where a site describes what it has.
Can a venue in Tlajomulco or El Salto apply?
Apply for the ground nearest the site. Areas south of Tlaquepaque fit Tlaquepaque/South, and MCC will confirm which ground a particular site belongs to when it confirms the venue for that ground.
Who supplies teams and referees in Guadalajara?
MCC does. Teams enter through MCC, and referees and crew sign up through the join page, so teams and venues never choose them. The venue hosts the ground's matches on the fixture dates.
