Dubai
Dubai's football runs on floodlights. Office leagues, community teams and friends' groups fill small pitches across the city in the evenings, and the city's mix of nationalities means a squad can bring several countries together. MCC brings a Dubai tournament in 2027, with three grounds, a Pitch Round starting on 9 April and the UAE Country Championship on 28 to 30 May.
Three grounds, three champions
Two halves of 15 minutes on a stop clock. Every team plays three group matches in a group of four, and the top two go into the playoffs, where a tie level after two halves goes to penalties. Five weeks of football on each ground leave Dubai with three Pitch Champions, and each goes straight to the Country Championship.

Evening leagues across a long, narrow city
Dubai stretches along the coast, and small-sided football has grown up in clusters inside it: districts such as Al Quoz, Al Barsha, Deira, Jumeirah and the Marina all have pitches and halls. Futsal and 5-a-side leagues run through the week, and most games kick off after work.
Al Wasl, Shabab Al Ahli and Al Nasr give the city its club identities, but most amateur sides are built around workplaces, residential communities or old school friends. MCC is aimed at exactly those teams, with a format that asks for no special pitch beyond a small-sided one.
Danube Sports World, Deira/North and Dubai Marina/South-West
Dubai's three grounds are Danube Sports World, Deira/North and Dubai Marina/South-West. Danube Sports World is the ground label for central Dubai between the other two, Deira/North covers the old creek districts and the northern side toward the Sharjah border, and Dubai Marina/South-West serves the Marina, Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Al Barsha and the stretch toward Jebel Ali.
The Metro runs along Sheikh Zayed Road and across Deira, taxis and ride-hailing cover the rest, and driving is common. Each ground holds 64 to 128 teams and runs a complete round, so a team enters the one nearest home or work.
Warm April, hotter May, then the UAE championship
April in Dubai is already warm, often 30 to 35 degrees by day, and May is hotter still. Group matches take the April weekends of 9, 16 and 23, knockouts begin on 30 April, and every ground plays its final on 9 May.
The United Arab Emirates has no other host city. Dubai's three Pitch Champions therefore meet at the Country Championship, 28 to 30 May 2027, and the continental stage comes after it. The World Final is the finale, on 7 July 2027.
Why a Dubai team might choose a season over a cup
Expat leagues and corporate cups are everywhere in the city, and many are a one-day affair. MCC offers a published season: a group of four with three group matches, then playoffs, with penalties for level ties. Entry is by one Team License, a Team President is named, and only amateur teams may play.

Questions from Dubai
How does a team enter MCC in Dubai?
Register on this site and pick one of Dubai's three grounds: Danube Sports World, Deira/North, Dubai Marina/South-West. One Team License per team: USD 1,200 for one year until 1 March 2027 (then 2,500), or 5,000 for three years. Payment and KYC verification follow the application.
When does the tournament start in Dubai?
The Pitch Round runs 9 April to 9 May 2027 on all three Dubai grounds. The group matches are played on 9-11, 16-18 and 23-25 April, the playoffs from 30 April, and each ground's final on 9 May. Pitch Champions go straight to the Country Championship on 28-30 May 2027.
How many teams can play in Dubai?
Up to 384: each of the three grounds takes up to 128 teams, and each needs a minimum of 64 to run its round. A full ground puts an entry on its waitlist instead of turning it away.
What can a Dubai team win?
$20,000 per Pitch Champion, $150,000 for the United Arab Emirates title, $500,000 continental and $5,000,000 for the World Champion - plus championship rings from Country level up.
Can a company team of mixed nationalities enter in Dubai?
Yes. The team enters under one Team License, names a Team President and registers up to nine players. They must all be amateurs, and nationality does not matter for entry.
How hot will the Dubai matches be in April and May?
Daytime temperatures can pass 30 degrees in April and climb through May. Every match is a slot of 40 minutes with two halves of 15, and the Pitch Round spans 9 April to 9 May 2027.
Is Danube Sports World a signed venue or a ground label?
It is the name of one of Dubai's three grounds, beside Deira/North and Dubai Marina/South-West. Each ground gets a venue through the pitch owner programme, and the live cards on the Dubai page show which grounds already have one.
Does my Dubai league team keep its own name?
Yes. The team enters under its own name with one Team License. Squads can have up to nine players, and the Team President named on the entry is the team's lead contact.
